When I was a struggling single mum, I learned something that changed my life. Life was not just happening to me. I was playing a part in creating it, even when I did not realise it. I learned the power of belief, not in a fluffy way, but in a real and practical way that helped me move from surviving to believing in more.
Manifesting is not about forcing things to happen or obsessing over what you want. It is about becoming the version of yourself who naturally attracts what is meant for you. When you change what is happening inside you, your life on the outside starts to change too.
This is how I understand manifesting and how I live it.
What Manifesting Really Is
Manifesting means lining up your energy, your beliefs, and your actions with the life you want, while staying open to things turning out even better than you imagined.
You cannot ignore your feelings, your habits, or your deeper beliefs and expect real change. True manifestation happens when you feel safe, calm, and grounded enough to receive what you are asking for.
You do not manifest by pushing harder.
You manifest by being present in your body.
Manifesting starts with how you see yourself and how you show up every day. The energy you carry is what you attract. You do not need to be perfect or follow complicated rituals. You need honesty, clarity, and belief in yourself.
The Do’s of Manifesting
Do: Be Honest About What You Want
Manifesting starts with clarity. Not what you think you should want, but what truly feels right for you.
Ask yourself:
Does this feel exciting or heavy
Does it come from alignment or comparison
Does my body relax when I imagine it
Your body gives you clear signals. If something feels rushed, stressful, or heavy, it may not be truly aligned with you.
Every dream starts as a feeling before it becomes real.
Do: Focus on How You Want to Feel
You are not manifesting a thing. You are manifesting a way of being.
Instead of focusing on exact details, focus on how you want to feel in your body, how you want to show up in life, and how you want your days to feel.
When you feel safe, worthy, and trusting, you naturally attract experiences that match those feelings. The outcome may look different than you expected, but it will feel right.
Do: Take Gentle, Aligned Action
Manifesting does include action, but it should not feel forced.
Aligned action feels natural, not rushed.
It comes from clarity, not fear.
It respects your energy and your limits.
If action feels exhausting or urgent, it may be coming from fear or control. Take steps that feel supportive and true to who you are becoming, not steps driven by pressure.
Do: Trust That You Are Being Guided
Manifesting becomes easier when you stop trying to control everything.
When you trust yourself and your timing, life opens up. What arrives may look different than you planned, but it often feels better once you are living it.
Trust that you are where you need to be right now.
The Don’ts of Manifesting
Don’t: Manifest From Fear or Lack
You cannot create lasting change from stress or panic.
If your thoughts sound like:
I need this to happen now or I will fall behind
If this does not happen soon, something is wrong
Everyone else has it figured out except me
Then the answer is not more affirmations. The answer is slowing down, grounding yourself, and offering yourself kindness.
Your nervous system shapes what you attract.
Don’t: Try to Control the Timing
Strict timelines often come from fear.
When you demand things happen by a certain date, you block better possibilities. Delays are not failures. They are often protection or preparation.
What is meant for you will not pass you by.
Don’t: Separate Manifesting From Everyday Life
Manifesting is not something you do once a day. It is how you live.
It shows up in how you talk to yourself, how you handle hard moments, how you listen to your needs, and how you recover after disappointment.
Every moment matters.
Manifesting Is About Becoming
Manifesting is not about getting more. It is about becoming more yourself.
More grounded
More trusting
More emotionally open
More connected to your body
When you align with who you truly are, the right things begin to find you, often in ways you could not have planned.
Simple Actions to Get Started With Manifesting
You do not need to change your whole life overnight. Start small and stay consistent.
1. Get quiet and check in daily
Spend a few minutes each day asking yourself how you feel. Notice what feels heavy and what feels light. Awareness is always the first step.
2. Write down what you want and why
Be honest. Do not edit yourself. Focus on how you want to feel, not just what you want to have.
3. Watch your self talk
Pay attention to how you speak to yourself. Gently challenge thoughts that tell you that you are not good enough or that it is too late.
4. Take one small aligned action
Each day, do one thing that supports the life you want. It does not have to be big. Small steps build trust with yourself.
5. Use a daily reminder
Choose something that reminds you of your intention. I use jewellery for this, as it keeps me grounded and reminds me that my angels are always looking out for me.
6. Slow your body down
Regulate your nervous system. Breathe deeply. Rest when you need to. You manifest best when your body feels safe.
7. Let go of the timeline
Trust that things are unfolding in the right order. Focus on showing up, not controlling the outcome.
8. Celebrate progress, not perfection
Notice the shifts, the wins, and the moments you show up differently. This builds belief and momentum.
Start where you are. Be kind to yourself. Stay open. That is how real change begins.
You deserve more than just getting by. You deserve a life that feels good and meaningful.
Believe that first, and life will start to meet you there.
Love,
Tanya
